"Good show, but I still double-check the Bible"
I’ve watched a lot of The Chosen, usually at night with a cup of tea after the house gets quiet, and I do think it makes certain parts of the Bible feel more real. The acting is strong, and a few scenes genuinely stuck with me more than I expected. That said, when it comes to biblical accuracy, I’m kind of mixed. There are quite a few added conversations and side stories that aren’t directly in Scripture, so I find myself pausing sometimes and grabbing my Bible to see what’s actually there. It’s still a good watch, but I’d treat it more like a dramatized version than a straight Bible lesson
"I gave it a try for…"
I gave it a try for a while, but i didn’t notice any growth at all. The whole experience also felt kind of impersonal, like there wasn’t really a real person there paying attention or helping.
"Good Acting, but Jesus Felt a Little Too Modern"
I did enjoy a lot of the scenes, the actors do a really solid job. But something about the way Jesus talks sometimes felt a little too modern to me. It’s not that it ruined anything, and I wouldn’t say it’s bad, but emotionally it pulled me out of the moment a bit because it didn’t quite match how I’ve always imagined him speaking.
"The casting feels a bit off now"
I wanted to enjoy it, but some of the casting just doesn’t feel right to me. A few choices keep pulling me out of the story, like I’m watching the wrong person in a role. It’s not terrible, but it’s just not the same for me anymore...
"I really wanted to enjoy thechosen…"
I really wanted to enjoy thechosen because it does seem well made and I can see why people like it. But the pacing was just too slow for me. Some episodes felt like they were taking forever to get to the point, and a few scenes went on longer than I felt they needed to. I kept thinking it was about to pick up, but it never really did for me. Maybe the slower style works if you’re more into that kind of storytelling, but I ended up getting bored quickly.

"Wanted to enjoy it, but it didn’t land for me"
I really wanted to like this, but the writing just felt a bit off to me. A lot of the dialogue sounded way too modern and kind of awkward, like the characters were explaining their emotions instead of just talking like real people. Some scenes also dragged on much longer than they needed to, and I felt like I had to chase the story a bit instead of being pulled into it. Just wasn’t for me

"I was hoping this would hit on…"
I was hoping this would hit on a deeper spiritual level, but for me it mostly came across as emotional and kind of stretched out. There were a few scenes that worked and had some impact, but overall something felt off and it didn’t really connect with me the way I expected it to

"Too Complicated for Its Own Good"
I found the storytelling really boring and messy. I kept wondering, why does this have to be so complicated? It felt like the plot was trying too hard and ended up making it difficult to stay interested.

"Works on my phone, not my TV"
I’m frustrated with this app right now. It works perfectly fine on my phone, but for some reason it won’t load at all on my Samsung TV. I mainly wanted to use it on the TV, so this has been really annoying for me

"I liked parts of it at first, but…"
I liked parts of it at first, but uh, the seasons just don’t feel very consistent. The tone, pacing, and overall quality seem to change a lot. Some episodes really pulled me in, but then others felt messy or dragged on too much. It’s just gotten hard for me to stay interested.
"Good idea, but kind of annoying to use"
I do like that you can watch stuff for free, and that’s the main reason I gave it a try in the first place. I was using it on my laptop one night while eating leftover pizza, and the videos were decent once they actually loaded. But the constant donation prompts and sign-up nudges get old really fast. It feels like every time I just want to click around and watch something, there’s another little pop-up or reminder in the way. The site/app could be way simpler. Also, a few videos loaded slowly for me, which made it feel clunky. Overall, it’s a good concept, just not the smoothest experience.

"Captions are really frustrating"
I tried watching on The Chosen, but the captions kept lagging behind or not matching what people were saying. Sometimes whole lines just didn’t show up at all. Super hard to follow. Especially for my family. Annoying, honestly.

"No subtitles in my language"
I was disappointed to find out there aren’t any subtitles available in my language. It makes the whole thing way harder to enjoy. I tried reaching out to support, but the replies felt like copy-paste answers that didn’t really address my issue, which made it even more frustrating.
"I don’t know, maybe I wasn’t in the..."
I don’t know, maybe I wasn’t in the right mood or I just had different expectations, but I really couldn’t connect with it emotionally. I kept waiting to feel something, and it just never really happened for me.

"Not as family-friendly as we hoped"
We were hoping for a more family-friendly experience, but it just didn’t quite feel that way for us 😕. It wasn’t terrible, just not the best fit if you’re bringing kids along.

"Not as easy to watch as I expected"
I was expecting the camera work to help pull me into the scenes, but it did the opposite. It was way too shaky and a lot of the shots felt too dark, so I kept getting distracted instead of just enjoying what was happening.

"Good overall, but the streaming can be hit or miss"
I do like using thechosen.tv overall. When it works, it’s easy to watch and the picture quality is usually fine once it gets going. But the streaming isn’t always smooth for me. Some nights it loads right away. Other nights, buffering. Or it just kicks me out for no obvious reason. Not the worst experience, but definitely frustrating when you’re just trying to watch one episode without dealing with extra hassle. 3 stars for now.

"Good, but I wish there was more to explore"
I really do like The Chosen, and the site works fine overall, but I felt a little let down after I had already watched the main episodes. I was hoping there would be more extras, behind-the-scenes stuff, or related content to dig into. It’s not that anything is broken, it just feels kind of limited, and once you’re caught up, there isn’t much to keep you browsing.

"I use this app often to…"
I use this app often to watch episodes, and overall I’m glad it’s there because it makes it easy to keep up with the shows I enjoy when I have some downtime. That said, it can be a little frustrating at times. Some of the menus aren’t super easy to find, and it takes a bit to load on my phone. Casting also cuts out every now and then, which kind of breaks the flow when I’m trying to relax. Most days it works fine, but it feels like with a few improvements it could be a much better experience.

"I was in a relaxed…"
I was in a relaxed mood when I sat down to watch this, but the acting felt really stiff and fake most of the time. It kept pulling me out of the story, and I just couldn’t get into it at all
